Welcome to cloonacool.ie, a website for and about our vibrant, wild and beautiful parish.
Cloonacool is a parish and village in County Sligo, Ireland. It rests at the foot of the Ox Mountains (Sliabh Gamh). The Mad river runs close to the village before it links up with the River Moy also running close to the village. Cloonacool is the rural half of the parish of Tubbercurry. Indeed, tradition has it that Tubbercurry is the urban half of the parish of Cloonacool.
